For building use "configure" as follows:

--mandir=/usr/man
--with-flavor=<flavor>,	e.g. gcc32, gcc32dbg

optinally specify:
--enable-wsgram		to build glogin with webservices submission code
if you need pre-wsgram as well, do:
  1. configure with wsgram
  2. compile & copy glogin to glogin-ws
  3. configure without wsgram
  4. compile
same approach is used by globus (e.g. globusrun & globusrun-ws) when installing, do a 
  make install-strip
this will result in a smaller binary.
